DepotNews - Saginaw Tx - 1522 & Specials
Click here to see the current schedule The following are pictures that were  shot just north of Saginaw, on the cross-over trackage between the BSNF mainline going between Saginaw to Haslet (on to OKC) and the line going out towards Decatur. << we apologize -but due to the number of pictures - this page may load slowly>>
The first set of pictures is the remainder of a 'special' that I initially saw at Haslet - not coming from the yard;  but the original line(OKC to Saginaw).  The train was southbound.  The special was being pulled by BSNF 721.
From Saginaw, the special turned towards the west on to the shortcut to the Decatur line. Using the 'Wye';the train was then backed to the east and south; effectively turning the train.
About 15 minutes after the first special was turned; 1522 came in from the West on the Decatur line - running backwards.
